Disability Hate Crime Less Than In England And Wales

"England and Wales have around 11 times the population of Scotland so, pro rata, you’d expected disability hate crime in the former to be at around 11 times 289 or 3 179 but, based on these figures it’s twice as common. This is not, of course, a precisely, like-for-like statistical comparison here, but given that other forms of hate crime are lower in Scotland, perhaps this has at least something in it?"
